Celebrating Visionary Donors: OTECH Foundation Legacy Society

At our Donor Appreciation Breakfast in March, the OTECH Foundation launched the Legacy Society to honor donors who have made significant contributions to student support. To qualify as a member of the Legacy Society, donors must have given at least $25,000 to an endowed fund, make a bequest of at least $25,000, or have contributed $300,000 or more in lifetime giving. Thanks to their generosity, OTECH students have been able to continue their education free from student debt.

At the Donor Appreciation Breakfast, we also heard from nine extraordinary scholarship students representing seven different programs. Their stories highlighted the hard work they have put into their education, their future plans in high-wage, high-demand careers, and the incredible support they receive from our instructors and staff.

The Foundation also recognized Wasatch Peaks Credit Union as this year’s recipient of the Samuel H. Barker Legacy Award for their visionary leadership and support of the Wasatch Peaks Pathway Building, student scholarships, wellness activities, and more.
