Withdrawal

Initiating a Withdrawal:

You must initiate a withdrawal from the college when you either:

  • Complete all of your courses and decide to leave the college,
    OR
  • Decide, for any reason, that you no longer wish to attend.

What you should know about withdrawing and ending your course schedule:

  • If you plan on returning to the same course(s) you will be responsible to repay for that course in full upon rescheduling.
  • Consider taking a leave of absence (LOA). A LOA allows you to take time off without having to pay for the course in full upon rescheduling.
  • Talk to your student support specialist prior to withdrawing, if you have extenuating circumstances.

High school students should notify their CTE counselor before withdrawing.

Students receiving federal student aid (PELL or SEOG) should contact the Financial Aid office before withdrawing.

If this withdraw is related to pregnancy, please contact the Title IX Coordinator at titleix@otech.edu to understand your rights to pregnancy-related protections and accommodations prior to submitting this form.
