OGDEN, UT – Ogden-Weber Technical College proudly partners with Seager Memorial Clinic in our free healthcare services event on September 19 from 9 AM to 1 PM. This event will be located in the Health Technology Building at 200 N Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT 84404.
Providing services such as:
- Cancer screenings
- Immunizations
- Dental cleaning (for the first 36 patients)
- Mammograms
- Vision screening
- Pap smears
- Screening blood work
- Community resource tables
- And more
With many of OTECH’s own students providing these services, patients will receive support from compassionate, patient-centered students. This event is intended to help the community access necessary services that can lead to early detection and better health outcomes.
As Dana Mace, OTECH’s Dental Assisting Program Coordinator, said, “This partnership provides students with the opportunity to apply their skills in a real-world clinical setting while helping the community members access essential healthcare services they might otherwise be unable to receive.”
This event is first-come, first-served, with no appointment required and no paperwork needed. Guests may enjoy free tacos and fun giveaways throughout the event. We hope to see you all there and encourage you to spread the word in the community!
