Launch a High-Demand Career with a Union Apprenticeship

Ogden-Weber Technical College works with local union apprenticeship programs to give students the chance to get even more hands-on training in their field. Our programs offer a powerful combination of paid on-the-job training and expert technical college instruction.

How the Partnership Works

Your education is a partnership between you, the union, and OTECH:

01

Apply to the JATC

You apply and are accepted by the Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC). They provide your paid job placement, hands-on skills training, and mentorship.

02

Complete OTECH Enrollment

Once accepted into the JATC program, you enroll at OTECH to take the related classes. Our teachers provide the important theory and technical knowledge that supports your on-the-job training. You may even earn college credit for your work.
