With the slow slide into spring, many students’ thoughts are turning to the end of the “traditional” school year or the end of their high school education. At the college, we see endings leading to new and exciting beginnings every day, like high school students getting a start on their chosen career paths right after they graduate. Or currently-employed people coming back to school to sharpen their skills.
Whatever their circumstances, we know that technical education is a foundation that every person can build upon. And scholarships are one of the best tools we have to encourage people to start their new beginnings here. The funds offer our students some measure of financial stability so they can complete their programs and get to work.
