Trick? Or Treat?

No contest—ALWAYS go for the treat. Who wouldn’t want something that makes them feel good on the inside?

With scholarship donations, that feel-good sensation works both ways. On the one hand, our donors invest in student success because they understand the challenges and rewards of ensuring that Utah has a technically-skilled workforce. It makes them feel good knowing they’re making a difference in students’ lives and in the community. As one foundation stated, “It is a pleasure to partner with you in reaching your goals, knowing that our investments in education are key to the future strength and vitality of our state.”

On the other hand, students feel good because they’re receiving funding that will help ease their financial burdens and allow them to graduate debt-free. Upon learning that he received a scholarship, student Duston said, “I felt proud, grateful, and relieved. This scholarship will allow me to continue my course, help me to meet my future goals, and ultimately help me to provide for my family.” Duston is just one example of the many students who are helped by our donors every day.
