Fall is Ripe with Opportunity

As noted in the lyrics of a famous song, “Seasons don’t fear the reaper,” because each period of time is an opportunity for a new beginning. Fall is no different. Though trees are shedding their leaves, farmers are putting their fields to bed, and we are heading toward the conclusion of the year, it’s not an ending. It’s a time of rest. A moment to take stock, get rid of the old, and prepare for the new.

Many of our students are following the same process. Betti was unable to find work in the dental field after moving to Utah. After reviewing her options, she chose to enroll in the Nursing Assistant program and hopes to eventually enroll in Nursing. Scholarships from our donors made this possible. For Betti, her scholarship was especially crucial since financial aid isn’t available for her program.

Changes happen all year long, no matter the season. When students need a change, the college is here to help them. We’re able to do this with the support we receive from our donors.
