Help Wanted and Wanting to Help

One cannot drive around the community or get on LinkedIn without noticing “Help Wanted” signs and posts by many local employers. Fortunately, the Ogden-Weber Technical College is here to fill employer needs and help build a technically-skilled workforce by assisting those who are seeking to learn new skills or upgrade old ones.

The college has more students on campus this fall than at any point in its fifty-year history. Enrollment has grown 11.68 percent with 4,035 students, making it the largest technical college in the state.

Daniel is a current student and foundation scholarship recipient. He is planning for his future now.

I chose to get into the Software Development program and plan to become a successful creator and developer, he says. I know there will be a high demand in this field for many years to come. I know the competition in this field will also be high, so I want any advantage I can keep to keep up with a growing market.
