Summer is in full swing, so that can only mean one thing—you’ve missed the deadline to enroll in a program at OTECH. Not true! Programs run year-round, and the college offers two start dates per month.
Carly took advantage of OTECH’s flexible enrollment schedule and enrolled while she was a senior. She noted in early May, “I’m just graduating high school, and I’ve been doing the Dental Assisting program since September! I chose Ogden-Weber Tech College because it was something my school talked about, and I thought it was an amazing opportunity to get ahead of the game and get a certificate in something I truly want to do in my life.”
So that must mean the college only serves “the young.” Not true! The college serves anyone from ages 16 to 65 and beyond.
Carrie has been employed in the medical field for over 20 years after completing a Medical Assisting certificate in her early 20s. Stated Carrie, “I began my journey to get my RN nearly 14 years ago. Due to family situations and finances, I was not able to start the program. When I first decided to jump in and give nursing school my all, I investigated a few options. I remembered how much I learned and what a good experience schooling was at OTECH. Now, thanks to a scholarship, I will be able to achieve my dream.”
