The New Year brings so many new changes…or does it? There’s often a lot of hype around setting intentions, cleaning the “slate,” and starting fresh. Often it can be overwhelming.
Sweeping changes aren’t necessarily needed in order to transform a person’s life. Sometimes smaller, incremental changes are easier to maintain and less stressful.
Wendy is currently employed as a computer technician but decided to enroll in the college’s Information Technology program with the help of a scholarship.
I really enjoy learning and want to continually increase my knowledge in the field,
said Wendy. The classes, environment and staff are phenomenal. I was surprised and very grateful for my scholarship. Without this funding help, I would not be able to attend school again for a while. Thank you so much for the help—I won’t waste it!
Wendy could have maintained the status quo in her current job, but one small change—enrolling in the Information Technology program—will provide her with a certificate, computer certifications, and more opportunities for job advancement.
