What We Do

Ogden-Weber Technical College Foundation’s mission is to support students by raising funds to invest in student success programs, that promote technical training completion and job placement with a sustainable wage.

The work is accomplished by partnering with like-hearted donors to provide scholarships for low-moderate-income and academically-talented students, equipment to enhance student learning, and support to programs.

What We Believe

Education changes everything. The foundation believes the connection between education and prosperity is direct and powerful.

Education provides individual opportunity, social vitality, and economic stability— critical to improve the lives of youth, adults, and families.

What We’ve Accomplished

Few investments yield as high a return as post-secondary education. It is the key to moving people out of poverty and into jobs with sustainable wages.

Last year, over $300,000 was raised for scholarships, equipment and student success programs.  More than 200 individuals, foundations, corporations, college employees and board members invested generously to elevate student success.

Experience is everything, and the benefits of a technical college education go beyond economics. Higher education is a key element of personal growth and social progress. College has never mattered more than it does right now. It is both a window and a door, a view of the possible, and a way to make it real. Youth and adults must be better prepared for today’s more technical jobs because we can’t afford to leave anyone behind.

Three-Year Plan 2022-2025

  • Provide funding for scholarships to assist low-moderate income and academically talented students to successfully continue and complete training.
  • Acquire funding for the equipment necessary to train our students for today’s technologically-advanced workplace.
  • Provide funding support for program development to consistently enhance student retention, completion, and job placement.
  • Improve the perception of the value of technical education.
