Foundation Outstanding Student Awards

The “Foundation Outstanding Student Awards” recognize student efforts and achievement and are sponsored by America First Credit Union. Students are recognized for a variety of reasons, including, but not limited to, good progress and attendance; willingness to help other students; assistance in working with student tour groups; volunteer efforts on behalf of the college; overcoming obstacles and turning their lives around; and classroom performance above the norm.

Employees are asked to submit the names of students, generally on a monthly basis when funding is available. Those who are selected are recognized in their program areas by administration and foundation members. Students receive a special foundation award certificate as well as a $50 gift certificate that can be used for tuition or purchases in the College Store.
