Electrical Apprenticeship Articulation

Academic agreements are used to identify comparable courses or pathways between educational institutions. This allows students to receive credit at a receiving institution without having to duplicate courses recently completed and to continue their education between schools. In order to receive credit for course work included in these agreements, students must provide an official transcript to the receiving institution. Any additional requirements are stated below.

Apprenticeship AAS Degree

The Associates of Applied Science in Apprenticeship degrees are specifically designed for students who have completed or are completing an apprenticeship program under the auspices of the Office of Apprenticeship. These degrees consist of the apprenticeship courses and on-the-job training from the Ogden-Weber Technical College (OTECH) coupled with general education and additional required courses.

AS Engineering Technology

Students who have completed an OTECH certificate may receive up to 24 credits toward an Associate of Science degree at Snow College. This degree can then be transferred to any public university in Utah for further education. For more information, visit Snow College TechConnect.

AAS Construction Apprenticeship (Electrical) – (07/01/2023 to 06/30/2025)

This agreement is in effect only when all criteria and conditions of the Career Pathways Program and Student have been met. Selection criteria must be met for acceptance into each postsecondary program. Program requirements from either partner may change without notice.
*All AAS Construction Apprenticeship students are required to meet with an academic advisor in the WSU College of Engineering, Applied Science & Technology (EAST) to establish a program contract plan, before entering the program.

Utah Valley University

AAS Business Management – (08/15/2024 to 08/14/2025)

Students must meet current UVU admission requirements and deadlines, provide an official transcript, and pay all application/admission fees associated with the awarding of credit and acceptance into UVU.
*Before admission to UVU, students must meet with the applicable program advisor at UVU.
**Students of the Institution will have five years in which to start an applicable UVU program, at the discretion of the receiving academic department.
