An official transcript is a legal document that contains the full academic history of a student (i.e. completed courses, grades or mastery, and certificates received). A transcript key is included to help the receiving institution evaluate credit. Secure transmission is required and is handled through the Student Records office.
Official transcripts are $10.00 and are typically needed for admission and (or) when transferring credit to another institution of higher education. They may also be required as part of an application for professional licensure.
How to order:

An unofficial transcript contains the same information as the official. However, it does not include a key and cannot be considered official because the same security measures do not apply.
Unofficial transcripts are FREE and are typically needed when an employer or sponsor needs verification of courses and (or) certificates completed.
How to order:
Unofficial transcripts and other progress/attendance verifications may be printed from the online student portal. After logging in, students can access the unofficial transcript in the “Reports” section.
Additionally, students can request unofficial transcripts and education verifications here.
