The Digital Design program prepares students to design print and digital materials. Students learn to use Adobe Creative Suite, while creating designs for web, print and multimedia.
The Information Technology Systems program provides the skills needed for employment in help desk, Linux, system administration, networking and cybersecurity. Students prepare to take certification exams like A+, Network+, Security+, Linux+ and Cybersecurity (CySA).

The Drafting and Design program prepares students for employment in architectural, structural, civil, interior, manufacturing or additive manufacturing design. The carpentry fundamentals program covers skills like framing, plumbing, electrical, cabinetry, math and tools and safety. Students who complete the certificate have the option to continue training as apprentices in specific construction fields and receive state, national, and industry certifications.
The Electrical Trades Preparation program provides students with hands-on experience before entering an electrical apprenticeship program. Students learn about safety, tool use, regulations, motor controls, direct current theory, basic residential wiring and solar power.
The Electrical Apprenticeship program is for working electrical apprentices. The program provides classroom and lab instruction while apprentices receive on-the-job training through their employers.
The Plumbing Apprenticeship program is for working plumber apprentices. The program provides the related classroom and lab instruction while apprentices receive on-the-job training through their employers.
The Dental Assisting program helps students gain the skills necessary to perform the comprehensive and varied duties in the dental office such as chairside assisting, dental infection control procedures, dental laboratory procedures and business office procedures.
The Medical Coding and Billing program prepares students to work in physicians’ offices, medical clinics, outpatient surgical centers and many other healthcare settings as medical coders, also known as insurance coders or claims specialists.
The Medical Assistant program prepares students to work as multi-skilled health professionals. Students learn medical assisting administrative (front office) skills involving assistance with patients’ administrative needs, as well as clinical (back office) skills involving assistant patient care.
The Nursing Assistant program prepares students to work in settings like long-term care, assisted living, hospitals, clinics, home health care and hospice. Successful completion of the Nursing Assistant Program qualifies the student to sit for the state certification exam.
The Practical Nursing program provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to work as a licensed practical nurse. Successful completion of the Practical Nursing program qualifies the student to sit for the NCLEX-PN exam and provides a pathway to the RN Program taught by the Weber State University Annie Dee Taylor School of Nursing here on our campus.
The Pharmacy Technician program prepares students to assist pharmacists in retail or hospital settings to store, prepare, and dispense medicines. Adult graduates are eligible to sit for the national Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE).
The Phlebotomy Program will provide students with the skills, training, and knowledge needed to become a skilled phlebotomist. Upon completion students are eligible to take the National Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) exam.
The CNC Machinist Technician program will introduce the concepts of basic machining using CNC Machines. Topics include blueprint reading, preventative maintenance, basic precision measuring equipment, basic documentation, basics of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and basic operation of CNC Lathes and Mills.
The Composites program teaches students to work with fiberglass, carbon fiber, and aramid (Kevlar). Students learn how to manufacture, repair and inspect a wide variety of components for industries from aerospace and defense to automotive and sporting goods.
The Automation Technology program prepares students to troubleshoot, repair, and install complex automated equipment controlled by computers, programmable logic controllers, and other controls used in manufacturing processes.
The Machining Technology program provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to set up and operate a variety of computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines including lathes, turning centers, and machining centers.

The Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) program provides students with instruction in basic inspection and testing methods for a variety of materials and products. Graduates are qualified as Level I trainees. This is the first step toward certification by an employer.
The Welding Technology program provides students with entry-level job skills to work in a production environment using gas metal arc welding (GMAW), shield metal arc welding (SMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), and gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW).
The Controls Technician program prepares qualified students for advanced work as in an automated manufacturing environment, with hands-on training in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), industrial robots, industrial networking, servo system programming, vision systems, and Human Machine Interface (HMI) programming.
The Automotive Service Technology program helps students practice and demonstrate competencies such as diagnosing and repairing engines, brakes, suspensions and electronic systems as they study to become an automotive technician.
