SkillsUSA is a national and state leadership organization for students enrolled in technical, health, and leadership programs.

Getting involved in SkillsUSA provides students with these three benefits:

1. Students learn and develop high-demand technical skills that are necessary in the job market; as outlined by 500 of the nation’s top trade associations and labor unions.
2. Students learn and develop workplace skills to ensure success in the job market. These skills have been outlined by some of the most successful business people in the nation.
3. Students will have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills at local, state, and national competitions and to participate in recognition ceremonies each year.

Many local businesses are interested in hiring employees who have been involved in SkillsUSA, because SkillsUSA students tend to have high skill and motivation levels.
