Aaron Michael Griffin came into this world as a happy, adventurous boy. He lived life on his terms. He left this life the same way. He struggled in traditional school settings, but thrived within a vocational, hands-on environment. After being a year behind in his high school credits before starting Youth Build, he was able to earn his diploma with honors just one month shy of his 17th birthday. He went on after completing the Youth Build program a few years later to the Sales and Marketing program at Bridgerland Technical College. He had a taste of academic success and desired more.
Aaron will forever be remembered as a leader and non-conformist, a compassionate giver to friends and the community, a strong work ethic, and for having a great sense of humor and quick wit amongst peers, teachers and community leaders. The day before his death, he selflessly and without hesitation, rescued a woman from a burning car, saving her life and was thus honored at his memorial service by the Plain City Fire Department.
