Participate in hands-on activities in our Dental Assisting, Medical Assistant, Medical Coding and Billing, Nursing Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, and Practical Nursing programs.

Using CAD techniques and computer software, you’ll create your own derby car! Use computer software to design your car, print it with our 3D printers, and then race it at the end of camp to compete for the fastest car.

Design and build a miniature hockey stick to blueprint specification. You’ll learn the processes used by machining technicians every day that create parts and materials! When you’re finished with your design, you’ll get to operate our state-of-the-art CNC machines to bring your creation to life (under the supervision of our instructors, of course).

Composites is all about using high-tech materials like carbon fiber to build products more efficiently: think rockets, spaceships, race cars, and roller coasters. At this camp, you’ll learn the industry techniques of using composite materials to design and build your own miniature rocket. And the best part—you get to launch it at the end of camp and compete for the best build!

Calling all high school girls! Who can build the best drift go-cart? You bring your skills and grit, and we’ll teach you how to weld and fabricate the fastest drift go-cart around. At the end of the week, you’ll get to take your drift go-cart for a spin and compete for the best build!

Interested in making things work, or computer technology fields like programming or digital design? This camp is for you! Throughout the week, you’ll make your own arcade game console: design the outside artwork to attract players, build the controls to make it run, and program your own game to bring the console to life. At the end of the week, you’ll present your arcade game console to OTECH students to compete for the best of camp.
